| here's the thing though, if your out of the playoffs by week 19-20 you're most likely in last place already. If i recall correctly, I was still not elminated until the very last game, i had a very outside chance but i wasnt eliminated and i was in eighth place at best. I have enough faith in this league that people won't tank their teams just 'cause. and if we do offline drafts we should get together for a day and do it. doing it over this forum would take forever. _________________ Democracy is three wolves and one sheep deciding what's for dinner.

I agree. Not to mention having to keep track of who is picked would take a decent amount of time. And what if one person selects a player that was already picked and people after that person continue on with the draft? Also, doing it over the forum would take fucking hours to complete. I say we just set up a weekend next year when we're all on spring break to do the draft. The season usually doesn't start until the last Sunday of March (with the exception of this season since the Sox are opening in Japan), so there shouldn't be any problem. _________________ "This record is not tainted at all. | If we can all get together and do it that would be sick, but it probably wont happen. If it does, I'm all for it. And worst case scenario, we draft on the forum - It doesn't even have to be in a day, it could take place over a couple of days, even a week. Just do a couple rounds at a time. Maybe 5 rounds a day for 3 days. Whatever the easiest thing to do when the time comes, we'll do. But that's not for another year. |

| I just realized something as I was reading my last post. When are we starting the season? There are two games in Japan a week before the rest of the league starts, so how are we gonna do this? Are we gonna combine those two games with the following week, or just skip over them entirely? _________________ "This record is not tainted at all. At all. Period." -The Home Run King

| That depends on how whatever fantasy venue we chose to use treats those games, but I think they might as we include them if they are regular season games if there is a choice. _________________ When I win the lottery, I'm going to hire Kevin Spacey to read me bed time stories.

| And I think money should definitely be put on this league even if its only 10 bucks each team. Of course if there are people that arent interested, we could still put money on the league with the payouts going to the top teams that put money down. _________________ When I win the lottery, I'm going to hire Kevin Spacey to read me bed time stories.

| And we've compromised to 5 players kept right? Even though the keeper league average for yahoo is 6. _________________ When I win the lottery, I'm going to hire Kevin Spacey to read me bed time stories.

| Yes 5 is fine. Now are we selecting them all right before the draft? _________________ Democracy is three wolves and one sheep deciding what's for dinner.

| yeah we should declare keepers i'd say a week before the draft, just in case of some last minute trading. And if yahoo counts those games then they'll count in the league. They are regular season games, right? |

| 5 players is fine with me. And I thought the deal with keepers was that you can select them at any point in the offseason up until the draft so that you can make trades during the offseason, but it's not required. And yes, they are regular season games in Japan, except that they start a week before everyone else. _________________ "This record is not tainted at all. At all. Period." -The Home Run King

| Well you asked a question so I was just clarifying the fact that we can choose them whenever we want _________________ "This record is not tainted at all. At all. Period." -The Home Run King
