Its nice to see that we are going to have a keeper league. I just wanted to post in response to those afraid that if we have to select half of our keepers immediately after the season, then a few right before the draft, that it would be unfair. My argument is this: if i had A-rod, or Hanley, or Pujols, or any top notch player. I would keep him no matter what, even if he was injured. The relative downside does not match up with the upside over the long run. But I obviously encourage people dropping top tier players when they are injured for a prolonged period of time. I personally wont mind taking a bad season or two, if i can land an Arod caliber player or 2, because like i said, the long term gain I will get, outweighs the short term losses. Its like investing in stocks, you need to see the potential over the long term.. takes a little more skill to do, but makes it so much more fun to watch your young players develop and become all stars.
Thats all.
P.s. the assclowns basketball league is kind of a joke.
