the only problem i have with this is it screws over the guy in last place or any other place for that matter, whos trying.
see, its a paradox. you have that system in place to prevent guys from tanking on purpose. so then in theory, the guy in last place was trying. so what then? he's not given the best pick to improve his team but 6th pick. and the guy who almost made the playoffs gets the best pick.
i think my system works best if instead of your amendment, cory, we add that a manager must have all his roster spots filled and playing, unless a spot will hurt the manager's chance of winning. (Like not putting a pitching to win ERA or WHIP, or a hitter to win AVG, or a player on the DL).
since i check my team daily and everyone's team weekly, it wouldnt be a problem to check, and then someone would just have to check my team.
it wouldn't be as difficult as it seems, and it makes sense, the worst team gets the best chance to improve itself
